Two Sisters & A Baby - The Story of Bub & I Clothing

When my Sister gave birth to her first baby in 2021, it was during the peak of Covid which gave us the opportunity to spend a lot of time together at home, bonding with each other, and with this gorgeous new addition to our family.

 

We spent countless hours having long conversations about how hard it was to find decent baby clothes, the challenges of motherhood, the sleepless nights and the difficulties my Sister was experiencing in finding a balance between herself and her baby…

 

As sisters who had always shared a love of fashion and style we had often talked about the idea of starting our own business and while this seemed to be the perfect opportunity, we really wanted Bub & I to be more than just a baby clothing brand.

 

We wanted Bub & I to be a brand that was inclusive; a brand that reflected the real lives of Mums and what was important to them. Somewhere they could come to find beautiful, comfortable clothing for their Bub and perhaps something special for themselves too.

 

And hence the idea for Bub & I Clothing was born.

 

Although we are starting off small and taking baby steps, we will be adding new product lines in the months ahead in the hope that Mum’s will be able to find beautiful pieces for themselves too and feel just as included on their child's journey.
